The P-34 has a lower weight because of its smaller oxygen cylinder capacity as well as smaller soda lime volume. The lower weight makes for more convenient operation compared to the P-30EX model. This breathing apparatus is equipped with either a mouthpiece or a full-face mask. The apparatus can be adjusted with the help of a UKP-5 instrument. We recommend using a KD-8 boost compressor to refill the small-sized cylinders.
The P-34 model, with 2 hours of rated duration, is used as a secondary device for escape during mine rescues and to evacuate victims who may need respiratory ventilation by artificial lung ventilation (ALV).
