The KD-8E compressor is used to fill small-sized cylinders used in compressed oxygen breathing apparatus with gaseous oxygen. It can also be used to fill cylinders in other devices and apparatuses that are used in the mining industry and medicine.


The compressor is a noise-free two-stage, double-cylindrical vertical booster pump activated by an electric motor. It is cooled by running water; the cylinder system is lubricated by a gravity water-glycerin solution. The compressor has an automatic control and signaling system.

The specific design and engineering solutions incorporated into the compressor have resulted in a device with reliable performance, easy maintenance and low operational cost. The KD-8E has a high productivity and compression ratio coupled with low energy consumption, low weight and small dimensions. It is environmentally friendly and does not alter the structure of gases pumped.
